There have been some IP changes on the back-end systems and RSA have sent out some advisories. Without surprise, these advisories don't seem to be following any pattern or template as if they were written by different departments.
Scheduled migration:
This has the migration schedule and provides some reasoning for the change which is to improve stability and performance.

Advisory of problems post-migration:
https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-96426
Rogue, incomplete and inappropriate advisory (no mention of problems as the reason for this change):
https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-96496
"The migration is expected to take place on or about September 14th, 2018"
Is "on or about" the best estimate that this security vendor can provide? How about some explanation of the problem?
Do think is appropriate to keep customers in the dark even though they would have to submit change requests and get these approved on time?

Thankfully RSA comms team have send out another e-mail, only after-hours to EMEA customers, on a Friday and on the day of the migration to tell us when the migration is planned to take place.
Thank you RSA. Next time, you can give us the date and time AFTER the migration has taken place.
We would be in the dark if it was not for the clear communication from RSA on important infrastructure migrations that require customer intervention!

Hi Marinos,
Thanks for the input here. A Knowledge Base Article has been created from information in those documents and can be found here for future reference. Sorry for any confusion.

I'm sorry but this article doesn't answer any of my questions. In fact, you could say is duplicate to
https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-96426 since it does not provide any new information.
There is no link between the articles that talk about "a problem" with LIVE to the (2nd) advisory about IP changes.
Customers shouldn't have to solve puzzles and search on community for clues related to an advisory that RSA have sent out to all customers via e-mail.
Communication should be clear and concise.
