deploy parser to decoder

Hello All -

Running NetWitness v9.8.5.5... if I want to deploy an XML parser (that does not create custom meta, but that does use existing meta) what do I need to do beyond save the parser file on the decoder?  I'm assuming that the parser is working as expected, but I'm not seeing it generate the meta I expect.

Any/all insights are greatly appreciated.  Tnx, Tom

Once the Parser is loaded on the decoder, you need to reload the parsers.

Open the explorer windows for the decoder within Administrator

Open the file tree for 'decoder' and you will see a folder called parsers, right click that folder and click properties.

at the bottom the properties window will open, select 'reload' from the list and click the "Send" button.

Alternately you can simply restart the services on the decoder and that will also reload the parser.
