I'm planning migration from ECAT 4.4.1.2 to RSA NetWitness Platform 11.4
I found the following article where most of the steps are described:

For the deployment of agents it is listed in Task 6, that I can create new agents in Netwitness Platform, copy them to the ECAT server and perform update on all endpoint stations from the GUI. The problem is that in the listed versions I cannot see ECAT 4.4.1.2, it is stating only for versions 4.4.0.9, 4.4.0.0 or 4.4.0.8. Is this procedure going to work for migration of ECAT 4.4.1.2 as well?
Task 6 - Deploy Agents
1. Generate an agent packager from NetWitness Platform 11.3 and later.
2. Copy the agent packager (AgentPackager.zip) to a Windows machine and generate the 11.3 and
later agent installers.
3. Do one of the following to upgrade 4.4.0.x agents to 11.3 and later:
l If you have NetWitness Endpoint 4.4.0.9 Console Server, copy the agent installers to the
NetWitness Endpoint Console Server, and upgrade from the NetWitness Endpoint user interface.
l If you have 4.4.0.0 or 4.4.0.8, copy the agent installers, and use the third-party software
distribution tool.
4. Deploy the agents.
