One of the changes announced in the release note of v11.3.1 was that Event Source Monitoring page will be deprecated and replaced by the Event Sources. After the upgrade the page has a big red banner saying:
And yes, the Even Sources - Manage tab finally has got filters, which is great. Prior that it was impossible to manage over 5000 event sources.
However, a historical graph, a very useful and one of the most commonly used features, has gone.
I am now breaking my head how to make a support team to be able to see and analyze the behavior of event sources. The team is responsible for ES monitoring only and has no access apart from H&W.
As a side note, why has the Settings tab of H&W not been removed though been rather useless since the H&W was introduced many years ago?

Hi Maxim,
We haven't removed any functionality from the page yet. The backup for upgrading from 10.6 doesn't back up the data for the graphs by default as they can be quite large.
What is the granularity you need for the historical graph? Per day? Per hour? Per 5 minutes? Per minute?
How far back does the historical graph need to go?
Thanks,
Guy

Hi Guy,
The granularity is not critical here. It might be from 5 minutes to an hour. A graph should show a logging pattern at least for four weeks back.

Max

Is there any chance the old page will remain there for a couple of years more, like the settings page I mentioned?

Hi Maxim,
We are currently looking into options for keeping the historical graphs.
As the pages is still available in the latest version, please continue using the historical graphs there until further decision/change is made.
Thanks.
