For IPDB Extractor Configuration Need An cifs-utils file to install on the broker

Hi All,

As I am going to integrate my enVision with RSA Security Analytics with IPDB Extractor service, so for that I need an cifs-utils file so that I can install the file on the broker appliance.

If any one have so kindly share the same.

And also if any have some other information on the integration of the IPDB Extarctor so kindly also share the same.

Hi guys,

You will be shocked, but support told me that the zconnector was dropped long ago. Now the Envision pre-installed edi-admin tool replaces it.

Check it out in:

e:\nic\4100\sitename\bin>edi-admin -help

I used it like lsdata (IPDB log download function) and now plan to test it as zconnector (IPDB log forwarding function).

can you try to mv the netwitness.repo to another folder and try again?

i think for the z-connector, when you install, it will create some service for you, no sure by default the service is there or not.

if no there, then we need to create ourself.

Pat you are right ..whne you install the Z connector that time EDi serverice gets add in the services list.Defult its not there...EDI commnad is already includeed in bin ...need to install the Z connector for starting the service.

one thing i don't understand is: why after installation it already forwarding all the logs? not really try to filter anything. Last time i tried but got syntax error then i forget about it.
