If you feel that there is an issue with parsing using the fortigate parser I highly suggest opening a Support case so that we can engage our Content team to address the issue. I would suggest also trying our Log Parsing Tool but the last version of this tool was from 11.2. I know Engineering is working on a new version but until it is ready the best way is to open a Support case with a sample log file and the version of the parser that is installed.
