Here are some helpful hints to make following the Community a lot easier:
You can follow the entire community, specific discussions or users by clicking the “Follow” button. This will put all the updates from the site in your activity stream. You can also choose to be updated via email for all updates. One suggestion would be to create an email, which would filter all Community updates to a specific folder.
To easily refer to a discussion or document later click the “Bookmark” button.
Your bookmarked pages can be found easily by clicking on the “Search” bar. There you can choose your bookmarked pages, frequently viewed pages and recently viewed pages
What are Activity Streams?
Activity streams show you real-time updates of activity as people interact with content, people, and places in the community. You can see all public activity in the Activity Stream, or create your own custom streams that show only the people, places, and content items you select.
What does the Inbox show?
Your Inbox shows replies, @mentions, messages, Latest Acclaim and shares--plus any activity you decide needs tracking closely. Your Inbox shows the activity that's most you-centric--the information that's sent directly to you and has your name on it.
