Pre-Update Initialization Error

I am trying to upgrade SA from 10.5.0 to 10.6. After upgrading SA to 10.6 ,Packet Decoder and VLC are giving the update error. Below are the snapshots of the same.

Hi David,

Last time when I upgrade from 10.5.0.0 to 10.5.0.1, the new rpm package rsa-sa-gpg-pubkeys replace the existing version already.

Please note that, current version is running with 10.5.2.0.

Also, when we can expect to get the offline update files from SCOL for 10.6.0

I think David is correct and that you should attempt to "yum install" the rsa-sa-gpg-pubkeys he provided.

Can you clarify what Security Analytics like SA 10.6.0 files you are looking for?   I'll be glad to look for the files but I want to make sure I know what you are searching for.

Hi Jonathan,

As I explained, it has been performed with rsa-sa-gpg-pubkey version as per David said. If you the higher version of that rpm, it will not replace the existing version and installed the old one.

Within few days, I am going to apply a new version update from 10.5.0.2 to 10.5.1.0 on production environment. As I have seen this issue already on testing environment, that's why I need to be secure before apply it (Finger Crossed).

If you visit the SCOLCMS, under download we can see available new downloads packages for 10.6. But inside there is no Update Pack like other version. Appreciate, if it is available to download locally (The method we use till 10.5.2).

Hi ,

Did you have the files preset in that directory? Or did you place them in that directory? If preset when you looked, just move them to /root and perform a creatrepo . and try the upgrade one more time.

Both the files rsa-sa-gpg-pubkey-10.5.0.0.2982-1.el6.noarch.rpm and rsa-sa-gpg-pubkey-10.5.0.1.3252-1.el6.noarch.rpm
are placed under /root.

Even, after create a new repo I can not get return result of yum.
