SNMP Traps

Has anyone been able to successfully get snmp v3 traps sent to SA?  We are seeing them in a TCPDUMP come into SA but it does not seem to do anything with them, we have setup the snmptrap service on the log collector and enabled the user.

I don't think so, you can use snmpwalk to test out, but i don't SA UI will use MIB to display the information.

You want say if I add MIB file to Linux this not help me convert symbols to words? Now I add MIB file to Linux, but snmpwalk all time say me "Timeout: No Response from localhost". No way to use MIB file in SA?

is the snmpd up? there is KB on how to configure the snmp

Yes, snmpd up, but port 162 occupied another process:

[root@SA-LogDecoder ~]# netstat -lptnu | grep :162

udp        0      0 0.0.0.0:162                 0.0.0.0:*                               1563/NwLogCollector

udp        0      0 :::162                      :::*                                    1563/NwLogCollector

When I do command - I recieve correct result:

[root@SA-LogDecoder ~]# snmptranslate -IR -On VGATE-MIB:vgateTraps
