test connection failed when try to add log collector service

i have added log decoder successfully in my SA server, now i tried to add log collector service its showing test connection failed.

why is this show?

i also tried after license the decoder but then too i got same error.

please any one help

can you check the port is opened or not? maybe the service is not running.

initctl list

netstat -an | grep LISTEN

Okay, let me check. i will update you.

I am not sure, But i think collector also use the same port that used by decoder.when we add decoder.

different, log collector: 50101, log decoder: 50102

I got it, my nwlogcollector  servuce is stopped.

Can you please tell me how to start or restart this service?

I tried from service nwlogcollector start 

But showing unrecognized service.

Can you please tell mi how to update SA server,

I have just downloded the sa server upgrade package and uploded in manyal update and appy. Now all rpm package are seeing in update repository . Now can you please tell me what is next step ?
