Upgrading NWE Endpoint Agents using MSI files. no SCCM

I have over 1000 NWE agents that are running 11.4 and 11.5. Our backend NW infra is running 11.6.

 

I want to upgrade the agents but on these hosts we don't have an upgrade mechanism like SCCM.

 

Has anyone upgraded using something like Psexec? I've tried but it fails saying that the product is already installed.

 

 

Do I have to uninstall the old agent first and install the new one? I can't install the new agent over the old one?

 

This is for Windows

try it with msiexec and specify the /i or /fvam flags
