Resolution
This tool is used to find problems with configured hardware RAID arrays. If installed, it uses the native RAID utility (MegaCli64 or CmdTool2) to issue MegaCli commands.
PLEASE COPY THIS FILE TO YOUR APPLIANCE USING SCP RATHER THAN USING A WINDOWS TEXT EDITOR, AS SOME WINDOWS TEXT EDITORS DO NOT HANDLE UNIX LF'S CORRECTLY, THUS UNEXPECTED RESULTS COULD OCCUR!

Usage: ./nwraidutil.pl [OPTIONS]
Note: If ./ is excluded and a version exists in the user path (e.g. /usr/sbin/nwraidutil.pl) then that version will be used instead.
All parameters are optional. Use no switches to use native RAID utility.
Optional Parameters:
-l <file> - Process logical disk (-ldpdinfo) info using <file> as input source
-p <file> - Process physical disk (-pdlist) info using <file> as input source
-a <file> - Process adapter properties using <file> as input source

Notes
This is unsupported software provided for the convenience of our customers, but if problems are found then please report this to RSA Customer Support.
- For Security Analytics/NetWitness 10.x, this functionality was originally included in the nwsupport-script RPM. (e.g. nwsupport-script-1.1-41.noarch.rpm).
- In RSA NetWitness 11.x, a version of nwraidutil.pl has been included in rsa-sa-tools RPM which installs to /opt/rsa/saTools/nwraidutil.pl. This RPM script version may be older than is contained in this KB.
- In RSA NetWitness 11.3, nwraidutil.pl has been deprecated by /opt/rsa/saTools/nwraidtool.py which uses /opt/MegaRAID/perccli/perccli64 instead of MegaCli64.
