This article is intended for customers looking to upgrade MapR 3.1 to MapR 4.1 on their Warehouse Cluster Appliances.
It provides information on how to upload the required upgrade packages, preparing your appliances for the upgrade, and the process of upgrading the Warehouse Cluster.

This guide will walk through the process of upgrading MapR packages on the Warehouse Cluster Appliances.
Download the Required Upgrade Packages
The upgrade packages of sa-10.6-Mapr-4.1-Update-1-of-2-EL6.zip and sa-10.6-Mapr-4.1-Update-2-of-2-EL6.zip can be obtained from Customer Service or Professional Services.
Upload the MapR Packages to the NetWitness Repository
Upload the .zip files to the RSA NetWitness Repository via the Manual Updates tab in the RSA Security Analytics UI.
Prepare MapR Components for Upgrade
Make sure that all Warehouse reports are turned off and that there are no Jobs running on the Warehouse Cluster.
Upgrade the Warehouse Cluster
Using the MapR Cluster System user interface to conduct the upgrade process.
