Issue
It may be observed that after installing Security Analytics 10.5.0.1 or above that a virtualized (VMware OVF) standalone Malware Analysis server may take upwards of 20 minutes to complete the start up process after enabling FIPS.
Resolution
This issue will be permanently resolved in Security Analytics 10.6.
Workaround
At the time of this writing, no workaround is currently available.
Customers who use FIPS on a standalone, virtualized Malware Analysis server should be aware of the additional time for the server to be fully operational, and should plan maintenance windows or other service restarts accordingly.
