RSA Netwitness Platform and RSA Security Analytics updates contain fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system.
Command Injection Vulnerability – CVE-2019-3725 RSA Netwitness Platform versions prior to 188.8.131.52 and RSA Security Analytics versions prior to 10.6.6.1 are vulnerable to a Command Injection vulnerability due to missing input validation in the product. A remote unauthenticated malicious user could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the server. CVSS v3 Base Score: 9.8 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
Authorization Bypass Vulnerability – CVE-2019-3724 RSA Netwitness Platform versions prior to 184.108.40.206 and RSA Security Analytics versions prior to 10.6.6.1 are vulnerable to an Authorization Bypass vulnerability. A remote low privileged attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain access to administrative information including credentials. CVSS v3 Base Score: 6.5 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N)
