Hi RSA Team,
Just had a quick general question. Im Upgrading a client from 10.6 to 10.6.6 then 10.6.6 to 11.x. Im wondering if I can run the backup script to determine the amount of space needed so i can tell the client to have ready on the CentOS 6 server for me for the final major upgrade.
Or do i need to be on 10.6.6 before i can have the script make that estimate.
Thanks,
Patrick McLean

I believe you can run this script against all versions, but note, it has been only tested against 10.6.3 and above. You may experience abnormalities we didn't expect because of this so if you open a support case against 10.6, you may only get so far since it isn't a tested circumstance.
My personal opinion is for you to go to 10.6.6 first; run your test; then continue from there. This will give you the most accurate results. Better safe than sorry.

Hi Aaron,
Marking this as a closed case then thank you for your help. The upgrade to 10.6.6 will be what i do first before providing the estimate than.
Thanks,
