Can I use a Local Log Collector to Pull logs from Azure?

Hello,

We're testing some application in MS Azure and we're also working on getting the logs they generate into SA.  

   1) Can the logs be collected using a local log collector & if so, will it work through a web proxy?

   2) If we can collect with a local log collector through the web proxy, where do I need to define the proxy settings?

Any info would be appreciated.

Has anyone pulled logs out of Azure ever...even in a lab?

I've gone through the guides but they're not very detailed and the troubleshooting guide is for VLC's deployed in to Azure.  I'm using a local log collector trying to connect to Azure through a web proxy in order to pull down application logs.  Both ends of the connection are configured, twice actually.  1 is configured on a log collector using a web proxy, the 2nd is configured on a log collector going strait to Azure through a firewall.  When I test the connection on both of them I get the same error..."Test connection failed:connection failed".

I'm having the same issue of "Test connection failed:connection failed", does this plugin work?
