Disable Data Reconstruction

Does anyone has a solution to disable the data reconstruction feature as it is not mentioned in any guide?

Hi,

you can create a new role and assign the permissions based on the documentation description Host GS: Service User Roles and Permissions. Basically the sdk.content and sdk.packets are required for 'low level' data access.

Could you please tell us which permissions should we untick to disable the "Show Reconstruction Log" feature?

Hi Maroun,

my suggestion is to clone an analyst role and leave only the sdk.meta permission. After that assign the user to the new role. Pay attention that the new role needs to be created also on each Service (Broker, Concentrator and Decoder) on the tab Security, you can use the replicate button for deploying on all the services (Core Service Level Permissions):

Of course you need to create also the Role in the Admin / Security tab (GUI Level Permissions):
