ECAT GUI - Connection Error

Hi,

I'm experiencing problem with the ECAT GUI.

When i'm trying to connect the GUI (Locally on the ECAT server thru RDP), i got "connection error" message.

I was trying to connect the DB with the same user that experience the problem, sucssesfuly.

I didn't made any changes in the system, except regular maintenance.

Please advise,

OK, the problem solved when i removed the "Database Instance Name" from the connection configuration.

There is no need to writhe information in that row?

If the ECAT database is running on the default SQL instance then there is no need to populate that field.
