Dear All,
I am on phase of implementation of RSA SA 10.4. I have added few RLCs & for some cases I am getting below error message. In some cases the RLCs(appliance) are not getting fully enabled.
(Empty response from executing mco rpc -a package --action yum_clean -I be5678e9-bfd8-432e-8dab-e58d24518287 -j)
Can any one help me in this case.
Thanks & regards,
Sourav.

I think it has something to do with with the update process. From the command line are you able to check for updates? "yum check-update"
Does it give you an error when you do that?

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the reply. It doesn't give me any error while checking the status of the update. However in the SA GUI>Administration>Appliances, the specific remote log collector is having error.
Thanks & regards,
Sourav.

Re-provising of VLC with SA will help the problem. Kindly also check this.
Hope this will work.

I am 99% sure this is a puppet issue.
1. Open a putty session to the server and run "tail -f /var/log/messages"
2. Then click on the button to check updates on the log collector.
Any error messages?

It is DEF a puppet issue. Strangely enough, I JUST had the same problem on an ESA that I recently re-added back to the architecture after a rebuild. I had to "REMOVE AND REPURPOSE" the appliane, which allowed me to relicense the appliance and then after I hit "DISCOVER' it came back up and that error message had cleared itself.
