Export to CSV All Deployed ESA Rules from any Existing Deployment - 11.5.1.0

Hello all,

A quick guide how to export all deployed ESA rules using "Mongoexport" tool:

1. SSH to Admin server
2. Use this generic Mongoexport command to export rules to CSV:

**CSV Mode requires a fields list***

mongoexport -u deploy_admin -p <deploy_admin password> --authenticationDatabase admin --db correlation-server --collection moduleSettingsEntity --type=csv --fields <choose your fields sepereted by comma> --out /tmp/ESArules.csv

For example, command to export rules to CSV with some fields:

mongoexport -u deploy_admin -p <deploy_admin password> --authenticationDatabase admin --db correlation-server --collection moduleSettingsEntity --type=csv --fields _id,displayName,enabled,lastModifiedBy,createdBy --out /tmp/ESArules.csv

• If you want to check all available fields that can be used under CSV mode you can export results to JSON file: 

mongoexport -u deploy_admin -p <deploy_admin password> --authenticationDatabase admin --db correlation-server --collection moduleSettingsEntity --type=json --out /tmp/NEWrules.json
