When running nwsetup-tui on the NW server during the virtual host upgrade from 10.6.6 to 11.3, the program cannot find "netwitness-11.3.0.0.zip" which is in the optical drive I tried both without unzipping and after unzipping.
I also tried without mounting it, mounting it to /media and mounting it to /mnt. I don't know where the program is searching and I couldn't find any procedure how to do it. The upgrade procdedure only explains how to set-up an external repo on a web server. For how to set-up a local repo, I only found procedure on how to do it from the UI (which I don't have access yet).
Thank you,
Louis-André

Sorry, I missed the “virtual” part of the deployment. Upload the 11.3.0.0 iso to the esx filestore and connect the iso as a cd to the virtual machine, then run nwsetup-tui and it will see the iso and build the repo.

While doing the NW server (node-zero), you have to keep the 11.3.0.0 ISO image connected (via iDRAC virtual media), so nwsetup-tui can build the local repo from the files on the ISO image.

Hi John,
Doing this procedure, we had a Chef error (with no precision). It did set-up the local repo though, or at least detected the ISO correctly.
However, we managed to set up an external repo after correcting our network problem.
Thank you,
