can send the log in /var/lib/netwitness/uax/logs?

Hi patriot,
I was busy today will send you that log next day.

what i encountered is the /etc/hosts didn't updated the correct the name after changed the hostname manually, you may take a look first.

I normally do a full restart of the server so that the host name and whatever random "behind the scene" changes can take effect. I would as well like to see the logs that Patriot3w has requested...

try to restart jettysrv. and check whether you can connect to nwappliance by using nwconsole command.
NwConsole -c login 127.0.0.1:50006 admin netwitness
2014-01-10 11:11 AM
got output like that:
[root@Logdec2 /]# NwConsole -c login 127.0.0.1:50006 admin netwitness
