Log decoder metered license out of compliance

I was wondering what the impact of an out-of-compliance license is?

I can see log events continue to stream into SA, but for the past 3 days there's been no alert or incident generated. Now I'm not sure if this is because of the license state, but I was just wondering if this could be the case?

Is there any other visible impact due to an out-of-compliance decoder license?
