Memory resource limit alarm for VLC

Hi All

Offlate we are receiving the below error on one of our VLCs

"warning 2013-11-20T21.11.06Z memory resource limit alarm has tripped on node logcollector@localhost.  Collection will be blocked until this alarm clears! "

I have logged a case with RSA still not yet receved any response from them.

Kindly help to solve this issue.

Hi Dipin,

I have see it before but we need to check the logs and the rabbitmq queue to see why this alarm is on also there is a change on the rabbitmq config we adjust but we need to check the system first. Please let me know the case number and I will follow up with you tomorrow.

Hi Dipin,

The issue here is not how to increase the memory but why it is reaching the limit so could you please let me know the case number and we will follow up tomorrow we need to see the route cause also there is a fix on SA 10.3 for that but as I said i need to see why it happening please let me know the case number and if you send me the rabbitmq log file will be a good start, so the logs are in:

/var/netwitness/logcollector/rabbitmq/log

compress in zip and send me (you can attach to the case or send to my email) the all *.log files from that location.

just a quick correction it will be fix on SA 10.3 SP1 but we can put a workaround for now.
