Re-index Concentrator Appliance

Somebody here, did the re-index on Concentrator Appliance? So, I need make that process with my Concentrator because he is broken, but only the Concentrator Appliance, the DAC that is attached him is everything Ok. Then, I need to replace that Hardware to a new hardware(I have this new hardware on our Datacenter), to make a reimage on this appliance(install a new concentrator with the same version), reconnect the DAC and make the Re-index process (I need to ensure that this new concentrator will read and index all values/metas from this DAC)

Somebody has any idea that How Can I do that? Help me, please.

But, that process ensures that the Concentrator will not lose all metas saved on the old DAC? I need to ensure that all metas will be read by this new Concentrator.

The document procedure flushes and regenerate index details only. Other databases still be available.

Do you have any idea about the time that procedure? We are talking about 12TB DAC...

Yes, you are right.

But, as I had create a new Concentrator Appliance and used the old DAC (DAC attached on the old concentrator that was changed by this new Concentrator) the support created all paths from the database (metadb...) before the reindex step. After this, the reindex started and take 12 hours to finish.

Now, everything working well =]
