I can't seem to find any documentation, so I am turning to the community in hopes of finding some. I am in need of what the maximum recommended EPS is for all of the various SA devices. I realizes this can very but I would suspect that there has to be some recomendatiaons for what type of device to go with based on the EPS.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

The official recommended EPS for Log Decoder is 30K is the maximum what Log Decoder can handle.
But log decoder can also handle upto 80K EPS but only for very short time or otherwise it would be crashed.
VLC can handle upto 5K-8K EPS, but can be increased by alloting extra memory and disk space to it.
Thanks,

I would like to know if the above EPS is for which series of appliances? Is it stated in any of the official documents? Thank you.

As far as I know the max and sustained EPS figures are the same between the different appliances.
This is obviously not logical especially when the newer appliance has 30% more resources for example which makes it sound like marketing trick.
