Hi,
Can anyone tell me what challenges I will face upgrading from RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 to 8.1 if I want to change my identity source from the AM Internal Database to Active Directory?
My main concern is having to reconfigure all my users as new in RSA with their AD account, or is it possible to map their internal database with my Active Directory so they can keep using their existing RSA login accounts without issue?
Thanks in advance,
Muzza

For your case is necessary to have a same userID in internal AM db and AD. if is case you don't have a issue.

Hi Muzza,
I believe all your queries about migrating from 6.1 to 8.1 are in the migration guide, which I've attached. Have you seen it?
Check out around about page 25 where it talks about local groups etc.
Hope this helps.
Nick
