Hello Guys;
We have RSA Netwitness Hybrid Packet physical appliance, what is the supported SFP models that can be used? Hardware setup guide mention only that the physical appliances support SFP SR 10 GB. if we have span port from switch which have fiber link 1GB and need to connect it to RSA hybrid packet, can we use any third party SFP 1GB model from RSA side?
Could you please share what is the supported list models by appliances.
Appreciate your help.

It depends on the exact type of network card you have.
For example in my s6e-hybrid I have two Intel X710 cards:
# lspci |grep -i ethernet
01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 01)
01:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 01)
18:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GbE SFP+ (rev 02)
18:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GbE SFP+ (rev 02)
5e:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection (rev 01)
5e:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection (rev 01)
These links can be used to find the SFP modules compatible with that X710 network card:

Hi Richard;
Thanks for your reply.
The existing appliances model is S6-E Hybrid and network card model intel X710, referring to Intel compatibility link we found the compatible SFP module that fit the card. its support dual rate (10GB and 1GB0), any one use a third party SFP its will not work as expected.
So user should strict with Intel SFP only.
Again thanks for your help.
