SA component monitoring

Hi All,

Is anybody have idea how we can monitor SA devices(Concentrator, decoder, log collector, VLC)

As i require an alert should come on my mail id whenever any SA device goes down.

Kindly guide me on this.

Maybe using a third party tool. Total Network Monitor.

Okay, but client do not have any third party tool for monitoring purpose so we need to monitor all SA devices from SA only.

I think in 10.4 they are adding this.  It releases next week on the 17th.  Someone from RSA should be able to answer better.  But I believe when asked they responded saying they have added health and monitoring to 10.4

From what I understand that is coming in 10.4 as a basic Health and Wellness monitoring features, but may not be full-fledged.

Years ago we started using Nagios to monitor 9.x gear. Our engineering team eventually switched to Zabbix but the principal is the same. I should be able to share details on how we did this in a future post/blog entry, bosses approval willing,

I just upgraded to 10.3.4 and under System/Monitoring you can choose to receive alerts for archivers and warehouse connectors...
