SA Log Parser Documentation

Does anyone documentation, or have the ability on how the xml Log parsing works in SA? I would like to analyze how the XML fully works in detail, along with easily modifying / creating new parsers for our internal use. I am having a hard time currently trying to read these xml parsers, let along creating them.

You must pre process the log file with something like perl to put each even on 1 line then you can parse it

Guys, does anyone have or prepared any documentation on how to build a parser which is consider as unsupported device.

Please help me, if you have something. I am just simply clueless
