Hi Team,
We are deploying OVA for VLC,SA and ESA. We left network and storage settings while deploying OVA files. Can we configured it at a later stage?
Also, what is the best way out of below two to revisit storage configuration.
1.) Currently each VM is comprised of a number of VMDK (Virtual Disk) files. We can increase the size of each VMDK and then instruct the OS to rescan for the new sizing and use the space.
2.) Additional Virtual Disks can be presented to a VM as a separate device. This disk then needs to be configured within the OS to be added to a Volume Group (if Logical Volume Manager is in use) or partitioned accordingly.
Thanks,

Hello,
Yes, this can be configured later. the OVA comes with default configuration recommended by RSA.
1. this is not advisable, given that each disk is partitioned as LVM partitions, I wouldnt increase the disk.
2. yes, adding extra disks is totally fine. this is a far better approach than step 1. you can add an extra disk, then partition it normally using fdisk or gparted. then add the new partitions as PVs for the Volume Groups you have in place, then extend any LVM you want.
Hope this helps.
