What is the recommended method to add machines that are in the DMZ to allow them to talk to SA? any documentation ?

You can find a list of all the necessary ports that need to be open between different SA Components here:

For 10.4.X

For 10.5.X

If you search "network ports" in the SA Docs search bar, and then chose the version you are running it will give the detailed requirements.
