NetWitness Education - Internal Employee FAQ
What changed?
Mainly our SABA LMS instance, as we separated from DELL and into unique Business Units, we migrated away from the old system into a NetWitness BU dedicated. Content for the most part will be the same, but the links have been updated to reflect the new LMS application
How do I access and register for an account?
Check out our guide here, but it's a very simple process using SSO.
You will need a BU email account, so make sure you have the @netwitness.com domain set up
How do I view and register for a class?
Check out our general user guide here
For Internals you do not need to complete the check out, simply Register and Launch the training, see example here
What type of classes do you offer?
We offer OnDemand(self-paced) training, as well as Instructor Lead Training. We also offer group training for larger audiences. See additional details about learning modalities here
Is there a price/cost associated with taking a Netwitness class?
For internal employees there is a 30% cross charge based on the class List Price(essentially a 70% discount), this is to help us offset our internal hosting costs. This all happens behind the scenes and is charged directly to your cost-center. We highly recommend getting Manager approval before registering for training
Is there a price/cost associated with taking a third party class like EC-Council?
Third party classes like EC-Council need to be paid as face value, please reach out to the education services team for any available discounts.
