Amperage email checkbox is not enabled after logging to Log in to iDRAC UI → [Settings] → [System Settings] → [Alert Settings] → [Alerts] → [Alert Settings].
Following are the steps to update the XML file after exporting the file from Server Configuration Profile and importing it back.
Go to iDRAC → Settings → Server Configuration Profile → Export.
Export the XML file with the following settings: "File name": Enter any file name. "Export components": Select All. "Export type": Select Basic. "Export file format": Enter XML. "Additional export items": All checkbox should be unchecked.
Open the exported XML file with a text editor and do the following:
Edit the XML file.
Change AlertEnable from Disabled to Enabled. For example,<Attribute Name="IPMILan.1#AlertEnable">Enabled</Attribute>
In Amperage (Critical) page, change Alerts_Email from Disabled to Enabled as shown below:<!-- <Attribute Name="AMP_1_1#DisplayName">AMP_1_1 (Critical)</Attribute> --><Attribute Name="AMP_1_1#Alert#Email">Enabled</Attribute>
Save the XML file.
4. Import the edited XML file to iDRAC → Settings → Server Configuration Profile → Import.
5. Once the file is imported successfully, check if the change is reflected in the iDRAC page.
