Netwitness Log Hybrid service install failed with error 'Enclosure 64 on controller 0 is already being used'

Issue

NetWitness Log Hybrid service installation fails with the error message below errors.

Cause

_nw-log-hybrid.registered_ flag file is present on NetWitness Admin appliance which is causing an attempt to run create raid. 

Resolution

• Please login to Log Hybrid and create the file using below command.

 touch /etc/netwitness/platform/nw-log-hybrid/nw-log-hybrid.registered
 

• Run the install now which will be successful.
