Install and Upgrade

Before you install NetWitness Platform you must do the following:

  • Understand Deployment Options

  • Understand the NetWitness Platform architecture and ports

Once you plan your deployment, you can install NetWitness Platform on Physical, Virtual, and Cloud platforms.

If you deployment is on a specific version and you want to upgrade, then refer to the Release Notes to understand the features and fixes in the release and the Upgrade Guides for instructions to upgrade successfully.
