Summary
NetWitness is pleased to announce the general availability of NetWitness Platform 11.7.1.2. This release addresses the recently published issue of NetWitness Core services storage partition fills up along with administrative, endpoint and security fixes that enhance usability and performance of the product.
This release is a patch to address the defects found in Core Services (Broker, Concentrator, Decoder, Archiver):
- Addresses the database storage partition fill up instead of rolling out older data when database storage space reaches the threshold.
- Display Online status on adding the services in the service config view instead of Indexing
- Fixes the error displayed when applying trusted authentication configuration to multiple services from the service config view
Administration Capabilities
- Loads the Log Collectors event source entries faster
- Allows to create or deploy any resource type exceeding predefined limit from Live Content View without errors
Endpoint
- Addresses high CPU and Memory usage while detecting suspicious threads on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019
- Captures all the file events for Web Browser process there by improves the agent’s ability to identify all the files downloaded
- Endpoint agent has been updated to allow third-party software installations if the file hashes related to installer are not blocked.
