Issue
My company has changed its name and we have been given new email addresses to reflect the name change.
Is it possible to update the email address associated with my RSA Link account to use my newly acquired address?
Resolution
Due to current system limitations, it is not possible to update an RSA Link account to use another email address in place of the address provided during registration. This functionality will be provided at a later date, but until that time the user must re-register for RSA Link with the new email address and work with RSA Customer Support to ensure that the new email address will be recognized with the company in regards to associating any active maintenance contracts, products, licenses and access to the Case Management portal.
If you need to proceed with this course of action, please
contact RSA Customer Support and reference this article so that they can assist in the process.
Workaround
If you are still able to receive email to your previous address (which is often the case in situations of mergers and acquisitions) then you can continue using your RSA Link account normally and will continue to receive email notifications for the content, spaces and people that you follow.
Even if you are no longer able to retrieve email from your previous address, you will still be able to log in to RSA Link with your same account and—while you will not be able to receive email notifications—you can access your notifications within the
RSA Link Inbox.
Bear in mind, however, that you will no longer be able to reset your password using the self-service method and will need to contact RSA Customer Support to assist you as needed.
