On-Demand Authentication (ODA) is one of the methods of step-up authentication that is offered when setting up your RSA Link account. When logging in from an unfamiliar location or device, you may be prompted for either an On-Demand Authentication (ODA) PIN or the answers to some security questions, depending on what is configured during registration. (Refer to the article 000035781 - Why am I being asked to provide an On-Demand Authentication (ODA) PIN when logging in to... for more information.)
If you choose to set up ODA as your step-up method then you will be prompted to set up an alphanumeric PIN and provide your mobile phone number. When prompted for On-Demand Authentication, you will need to type in the PIN you configured during registration, at which point you will receive a text message with the tokencode that will need to be entered within the web browser in order to fully authenticate.
