When deploying new hardware/gear, specifically Series 5 appliances, it is recommended to use the script located in the /opt/rsa/saTools directory. Please note that you should not use the script on any version "EARLIER" than the version listed below;

It has been discovered that using this script from earlier versions could incorrectly configure the first (2) drives on Packet Decoder DAC's into a RAID 0 configuration. In this configuration if either of the first (2) drives fail on the impacted decoder, the decoder service will stop, and the decoder will stop capturing. This will result in down time until the drive can be RMA'd.
